The usage of AI in our daily lives has already been revolutionized by OpenAI’s ChatGPT. As part of its “12 days of OpenAI” series, the business unveiled Canvas on Tuesday, with the tool’s collaborative editing feature, users and ChatGPT can collaborate on a document at the same time,
Just like two people would. ChatGPT offers focused feedback to help improve code or text. Quick access to Canvas is made possible with an embedded shortcut, which may be combined with unique GPTs. Users can edit, incorporate input, and interactively improve material or code using Canvas, a side-by-side interface that facilitates real-time collaboration using ChatGPT. In a YouTube video, OpenAI’s chief product officer Kevin Weil declared, “It’s a game-changer for how people interact with AI, enabling deeper collaboration and unlocking new levels of creativity.” Using the GPT-4 model, customers can access ChatGPT Canvas on free, Plus, and Pro plans. However, this technology, which aims to improve human-AI interaction, will only be available to free-tier users. Canvas is available to users via the ChatGPT desktop program for Windows or the web.
What is ChatGPT Canvas?
When users enter large amounts of text for tasks like essay reviews, a Canvas button shows up in the top-right corner. Like a professor’s remark, users can ask ChatGPT to provide feedback with detailed recommendations for enhancements. Programming code review and editing are also included in this capability. In order to show off Canvas’s capacity to use entertaining features like emojis to make content interesting for younger audiences, OpenAI programmers created a children’s Christmas narrative. OpenAI also unveiled ChatGPT Pro, a premium service that unlocks enhanced features and costs Rs. 16,970 ($200) per month, as part of the larger “12 days of OpenAI” announcements. A fine-tuning research program and Sora Turbo, a video-generative AI model that is currently accessible to Plus and Pro users, are among the other updates. This enhanced mode makes use of more processing power to provide better answers for challenging problems including complicated coding, scientific reasoning, and sophisticated mathematics.
